About Sombra

Meet Sombra, a delightful young female Labrador Retriever looking for her forever home. A couple of weeks ago, she faced a tough situation after being harmed with a BB/pellet gun. Luckily, kind-hearted people found her and took her to the vet while also spreading the word about her. Unfortunately, no one came forward. But now that she’s safe and warm, Sombra is ready to embrace life indoors. This sweet girl is around a year old and weighs roughly 35–40 pounds. One of her favorite activities is playing in the water—she really loves to splash around! Sombra is good with other dogs, especially with slow introductions. Although she's a black lab, often overlooked, she's hoping someone will recognize the giant heart she has inside. Sombra is now looking for that special family to love her and make her feel truly at home. Could you be the one? If you’re interested in making Sombra part of your family, fill out an adoption application and come meet her!
