Bree is a lovely 2-year-old beagle who was found with a litter of pups in a yard. A concerned neighbor reached out to Houston Beagle Rescue, and together they secured the release of Bree and her companions when the puppies were just 5 weeks old. After nursing, Bree was spayed and has completed her heartworm treatment, making her ready for adoption. Weighing in at a neat 25 pounds, Bree displays excellent house manners, avoiding items that don’t belong to her pack. She uses the dog door effortlessly. Bree enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play, despite her occasional possessiveness during meal times, which calls for some supervision. This sweetheart craves affection and can be a bit clingy with her favorite humans. With time and love, she will learn to share and enjoy the abundant affection of her new family.
