Tia arrived at Heartland along with her friend Christy after they were surrendered to Chicago Animal Care when their family had to move to a cat-free home. Despite the changes, Tia has shown herself to be a quiet, sweet companion who simply needs a bit of time and patience to feel secure. Tia may be a little shy when meeting new people, but she will reward your kindness with comforting companionship as she builds her confidence. She thrives in serene environments, relishing her surroundings at her own pace. A family that appreciates the beauty of slowly blossoming friendships would be ideal for her. If you're on the lookout for a gentle, loving feline to share your life with, Tia could be the perfect match. And if you have space for two, consider adopting her along with her special friend Christy; they’ve supported each other through so much and would love to start their next chapter together. Tia is spayed, up-to-date on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, and is FIV and FeLV negative. Come meet her at our Heartland Facility in Wheeling, IL!
