About Hendricks

Hendricks has a story that pulls at the heartstrings. This resilient cat survived a harrowing experience early in life, enduring a cruel fate as a kitten during Malaysia’s COVID lockdown in 2020. Rescued from a market where he faced unimaginable challenges, he showed a remarkable will to survive. In 2022, Hendricks relocated to Oman, joining a family with two other rescue cats. However, a traumatic encounter with a stray cat left him more vulnerable, causing him to be anxious around other cats and in noisy environments. With people, though, he transforms completely. Hendricks craves human affection and builds deep connections with those he trusts. Initially shy, a little patience and a calm space reveal a loyal, affectionate companion who’s simply seeking safety. He thrives in peaceful homes without other pets, hoping for a dedicated person or family that can provide him with a secure and loving atmosphere. After all he's been through, Hendricks deserves to feel at home. Could you be the safe place he’s been longing for? Your new best friend is just one click away.
