Meet Baxter, a handsome mixed breed dog who's just waiting to find his forever home. At around 2 years old, he weighs 63 pounds and has a beautiful medium coat. This friendly boy is not a fan of toddlers, so a home without little ones would be ideal. Baxter does well on a leash and would love to join you for walks—he's a great walking partner! Baxter is dog-friendly, but if you have another pup at home, a meet and greet is necessary to ensure a good match. We're not sure about his feelings towards cats yet, but we plan to conduct a cat test soon. A home with a fenced yard would be perfect for him to run and play safely. You can meet Baxter on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM at Dogs Forever, located at 809 Rockford Rd SW in Cedar Rapids.
