Meet Kane. This charming little guy is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu/Pug mix weighing around 10 pounds. Kane was surrendered to a northern Mississippi shelter, looking quite matted and understandably uneasy about being handled. Thankfully, he received immediate grooming care and has transformed into a snuggly lap dog who loves to be petted and cuddled. Kane is a friendly fellow who gets along well with everyone, including other dogs. He’s house trained to use a doggie door, although he may need some patience as he adjusts to a new routine in a different home. While a fenced yard would be ideal for him to play freely, it’s not a must. Kane is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
