Oaklyn thrives in a secure, fenced yard where she can frolic and explore before settling down for cozy couch time. With her background as a shepherd mix, she's incredibly intelligent and benefits from enrichment activities, though be warned: stuffed toys don't last long with her! Tough chew toys are a much better option. While Oaklyn does experience some anxiety in new environments, she's currently making admirable strides in behavioral modification training. She forges strong bonds with her family and is naturally protective of those she loves. Oaklyn seeks a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and understands the needs of a shepherd mix, although prior shepherd experience is not mandatory.
