Meet Piper, a cheerful and friendly puppy who has already faced difficult times. Rescued during a chaotic situation, she came to us with some minor injuries but has shown nothing but love and eagerness to please. At just 12 weeks old and currently weighing 14 lbs, she’s expected to grow into a medium-sized companion, around 40-50 lbs fully grown. Her playful spirit shines as she eagerly engages with other dogs, showing her submissive side while still holding her own in playtime. Piper is also great with cats, displaying a gentle curiosity and a knack for cuddling. She’s learning fast; she picked up the command "sit" within just five minutes! Piper enjoys belly rubs, is comfortable during baths, and rides quietly in the car. Although she’s not housetrained yet, she’s been doing well in her crate and hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home. Currently in Richmond, VA, Piper is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be spayed when appropriate, all covered by her $375 adoption fee.
