About Nitro

Nitro may be tiny, but he’s a mighty little survivor. Rescued from rural Waller County, Texas, he bravely navigated life on his own until found by a caring foster. Now in a safe home, Nitro is exploring the joys of love and companionship. He’s an affectionate Chihuahua who loves toys and enjoys racing around the yard with joyful zoomies. His favorite way to nap is curled up next to his foster person, and at night, he sleeps quietly in his crate, making great strides with potty training. Having faced abandonment, Nitro can be cautious when meeting some men, but he’s learning to trust with patience and kindness. Once comfortable, he reveals his sweet, loving personality. This little guy gets along well with both dogs and cats. While he’d love a friendly canine companion, he’d be just as happy as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. His beautiful white coat is coming back nicely, with charming tan spots beginning to show. Paired with his large ears and captivating light amber-gray eyes, Nitro is as handsome as he is charming. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find the forever family he truly deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
