Kitkat arrived at the rescue on July 9th with a broken leg, likely from being hit by a car. Thanks to Dr. Mele, a plate was placed to fix the injury instead of amputating. He walks with a slight limp, but that doesn’t stop him from being the most laid-back cat you’ll ever meet. Remarkably, Kitkat never fussed during any part of his treatment—he simply welcomed the attention with gratitude. His gentle demeanor has earned him many fans among the staff and volunteers.
