About Oscar

Oscar is one half of a bonded pair with his best friend, Nelson. Recently, their lives turned upside down when they were abandoned at a crowded shelter. Fortunately, they made their way to Stop the Suffering, but they find themselves navigating the challenging recovery process separately. Both boys, who are about 5 years old and under 25 pounds, are currently at a veterinary hospital for neutering and treatment; Oscar's procedures also address an enlarged prostate and urinary crystals. Despite their medical needs, Oscar's cheerful spirit remains intact. He loves everyone he meets and gets along well with other dogs, making him a joy to be around. Both boys thrive on each other's presence and need an active foster home with a fenced yard where they can run freely and heal side by side. Let's help them bridge the gap from their past to a loving future together. Fostering is a temporary commitment that can have a lasting impact. If you think you could provide a home for Oscar and Nelson, reach out or fill out a foster application today!
