Jay was rescued through a Trap Neuter Release program and was found as a dumped cat. Having spent over a year living outdoors, he’s still adjusting. Jay feels nervous around loud noises and fast movements, but he really enjoys head scratches and will let you pet him as long as you keep going back to his favorite spot. He needs a patient family that can give him time to settle into his new home, understanding that he might hide for a while as he acclimates. Jay is likely to get along with other cats, depending on their temperament, but he does not do well with dogs or children.
