Meet Ditee! Affectionately known as Aphrodite, this happy 5-year-old pit bull is ready to fill your life with love. If you gaze into her eyes, you'll notice the deep affection she has to offer. Ditee’s main goal? To love and be loved. She recently arrived at H.A.L.O. due to her family’s change in circumstances; they had to part ways, and both new homes couldn’t accommodate her size. This situation clearly isn't her fault, and she’s now eagerly seeking a new family to cherish. Ditee has shown resilience in her life. When she was first rescued, her collar had been too tight, leading to some skin issues. Now, while she’s fine wearing one, she appreciates a break from it when indoors. Growing up with a tiny puppy sibling taught her how to navigate doggy relationships. Despite her size, that pup was the boss, and Ditee is open to living with other dogs again. She's gentle and sociable, enjoying playing ball (but she's not into returning it) and loves splashing around in water. Cuddling on the couch, belly rubs, and side scratches are her all-time favorites. At home, she roams freely but relaxes comfortably in her kennel when the house empties. Ditee has no experience with cats but shows a friendly interest in them. Given slow introductions and a patient family, she could adapt well to living with felines.
