About Johnny

Meet Johnny, an affectionate 11-year-old pit/lab mix who has been waiting patiently for a foster or forever home in Ventura, CA. With his distinctive speckled ears, he radiates warmth and friendliness. Johnny thrives on companionship; he’s looking for a single person to share life's moments—whether it’s relaxing on the couch, going for walks, or enjoying car rides. While he’s playful and enjoys fetch, Johnny forms a strong bond with just one person, making him a great choice for someone seeking a loyal companion without sharing his affections. He isn’t very trusting around other dogs, especially males, so a single-dog household is best for him. Though he's still agile, Johnny prefers not to be left alone for long stretches, as boredom can lead to mischief, like jumping fences! Johnny is neutered, vaccinated, and in good health, eager to find his ideal home where he can be loved and cherished. Can you open your heart and home to this sweet boy?
