About PEPA pup
Meet Pepa! This beautiful brindle pit mix is around 8-9 years old and weighs about 48 lbs. Pepa is an absolute gem and is known for being excellent with other dogs — currently living with four of them in her foster home without any issues. She's calm and easygoing, delightful with every person she meets, and would be great in a home with children. Many have fallen in love with her sweet, friendly nature. Pepa is house trained, never having had a single accident, and she's perfectly fine being left alone. Her leash skills are impressive; she walks without pulling and sleeps soundly through the night. Pepa has quite the backstory. Once dumped in Cayey, she became a local sensation as the marathon dog, often seen trotting alongside people at a community running track. Her rescuer spotted her during a run and was moved to help after realizing she had no one to care for her. Now, she’s looking for a cozy home to call her own, whether in a city apartment or a suburban backyard. Pepa is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Currently, she’s in Puerto Rico but can easily fly to her forever home along the East Coast, starting in Miami and moving up to Virginia Beach. The adoption process is straightforward and has been done successfully thousands of times. If you're ready to welcome a loving and gentle companion into your life, Pepa could be your new best friend!
