Meet Captain. Rescued from the Chelsea boat club, he has a story. It’s likely he was abandoned in that area for some time, navigating the challenges of industrial surroundings on his own. Captain is a handsome young tabby at around 2 years old, sporting earthy-toned tiger stripes. He’s a bit shy initially, so he needs someone patient to help him feel secure. Once he warms up, Captain delights in companionship. Expect him to make eye contact, follow you around like a little shadow, roll over for affection, and demand belly rubs and side scritches. Be ready for his adorable way of letting you know when he wants more love— a gentle paw tap or a soft nibble should do the trick. He enjoys playing with feather toys and lounging on beds.
