Resilient by nature, he made it through tough times on the streets and was found with a large wound and matting. After some wound care and a shave, he’s now feeling like a new man. Just wait until his beautiful long fur grows back in! Rocco loves to engage in conversation, happily chirping, meowing, and trilling for your attention or simply to greet you. He enjoys the company of other cats and is curious about his foster roommate. Treats like wet food and Churrus are definitely his favorites! On the "Spicy" Side of Sweet, Rocco is friendly but still honing his indoor manners. His excitement for affection sometimes expresses itself through a playful swat or nip, which isn't meant to be mean; he’s just socially awkward and learning that using words is better than claws. For this reason, he'd thrive best with experienced cat owners. Rocco is looking for a home with a feline friend who can handle his forward personality, and he might do well with a calm dog, too. Introductions should be slow and thoughtful. Patience is key with Rocco; someone who understands “cattitude” and can work with his boundaries will need to guide him.
