About Alfalfa
Alfalfa is an 8-month-old Black Labrador Retriever whose world has been turned upside down in the shelter. This young pup feels sad, scared, and confused but is brimming with potential. Weighing in at a manageable 34 pounds, he has made incredible strides in socializing with both staff and volunteers. He loves other dogs and, with a slow introduction, has proven to get along with cats as well. Cuddling and playing are among Alfalfa's favorite activities, and he absolutely adores swimming! He needs a patient home that allows him to acclimate and learn to trust. Families with children should have kids around 12 years and older to ensure a good fit. Alfalfa has melted hearts all around the shelter and is ready for a loving home. Come visit him at Michiana Humane Society and give him the forever home he deserves.
