Meet Sophie Ann, an extraordinary Lab mix currently in a foster home far from Massachusetts but ready to come to New England very soon. This 3-year-old beauty weighs about 60 pounds and was rescued after being found as a stray in Tennessee. Through our long-distance adoption process, you can chat with her foster family to learn more about her personality and get a feel for what she’s like at home. Sophie Ann is not just a pretty face—she’s smart, well-mannered, and incredibly sweet. Friendly and outgoing, she wins hearts everywhere she goes. She’s great with kids and other dogs, and though she hasn't had a chance to meet cats yet, we believe she could adapt. House-trained and impressively well-mannered, she knows commands such as sit and stay and is even working on her yodeling! Imagine coming home to a loving companion who bakes delicious imaginary treats—yes, Sophie Ann loves to “bake” in her spare time!
