Athena is ready for a loving home! At around 5 years old and weighing about 60 lbs, she’s a mix of Pit Bull Terrier and Black Labrador Retriever. This girl had a challenging start; her previous owner never claimed her from the pound. After recovering from complications related to her spay and undergoing heartworm treatment, she is now thriving. Initially thought to be dog aggressive, Athena has proven to be a big fan of her furry companions and loves to play. She also gets along well with cats and is friendly with everyone she meets. Athena is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for her to enjoy, and while a playmate is preferable, it isn’t a requirement.
