About Nola

Nola is a charming puppy who was part of a court case and has been thriving in foster care with elementary-aged children and a grumpy cat since March. At about 11 months old, she still needs some training but is fairly well-behaved, though she can get a little jumpy when greeting people. Weighing in at around 45 pounds, she’s gentle with kids, but her playful-energy may be too much for toddlers. Nola enjoys daily walks but isn’t overly energetic. She’s content with a couple of short walks each day and loves to play fetch. Crate training is going well, though she previously needed a strong crate; details on her current crate skills are being assessed. While Nola may initially hesitate around new men, she warms up quickly with proper introductions. She's a true cuddlebug at heart, often snuggling close while you work or sleep. She gets along with her dog-savvy feline foster sibling, but can be a bit rambunctious at times. Nola also enjoys playdates with other dogs, so a canine companion might help build her confidence.
