Meet Rocky! When his human fell ill, Rocky came to Anti-Cruelty in search of a new home. The shelter environment is quite stressful for him, so he longs for a loving family. Previously, Rocky preferred to keep his food to himself, making a separate feeding area essential if you have other pets. While he has shown friendly behavior towards other dogs, a slow introduction would be important. Ideally, he would thrive with children over six who can respect his space during meal times. As a herding breed, Rocky needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation, so if you enjoy long hikes or engaging enrichment activities, he’d be a perfect match.
