About Silk
Silk is a lively, one-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing around 11 pounds. She's spayed and ready to bring joy to a loving home. Silk qualifies for our foster-to-adopt program, making her a great option if you're considering adoption but want to ensure she’s the right fit first. Simply email fostertoadopt@socialteesnyc.org with Silk’s name in the subject. This friendly girl has a moderate energy level and requires about an hour of daily exercise, which includes a brisk walk and playtime. While she’s social with other dogs, we’re still learning how she interacts with cats and children. For kids, age 8 and up is advisable, ensuring safe and respectful interactions. Potty training is likely in progress, though some transitional accidents may occur during the adjustment period. Silk has been vaccinated and is healthy, having received all necessary medical attention prior to her arrival with us. She’s currently in a foster home and not at the Social Tees office, so you can experience her in a loving environment. Every pet deserves a chance at a forever home. What are you waiting for?
