Meet Merlin, a resilient cat ready to start a new chapter in a loving home. When he first arrived at Second Chance Strays, he was a sick stray with a severe upper respiratory infection. Underweight and worn down, he needed a lot of TLC. Fast forward to today: Merlin has regained his health, looks great, and is eager to find his forever family. Estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, Merlin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He thrives as the only cat, maintaining a watchful demeanor around others due to his past experiences. Merlin is affectionate and enjoys receiving attention, making him a favorite at adoption events. He would prefer a quieter home without young children but is comfortable with small dogs. With some patience and proper introductions, he may also adjust well to respectful dogs.
