Salley is a 9-year-old female Black Labrador Retriever mix weighing approximately 55 lbs. This sweet girl had a rough start but was saved from a shelter that was short on space. Salley is generally not a fan of other dogs in her face, but she has been doing well in her foster home with a calmer canine companion. A true velcro dog, she loves being near her people and would thrive as a laid-back companion. While Salley is house-trained and crate-trained, she prefers not to be crated. She walks nicely on a leash and, as long as she’s taken outdoors regularly, she’s well-behaved inside. Her curiosity shines through when she soaks up attention, often standing with her head bowed like she’s soaking in all the love. Salley enjoys meal times and treats, and she keeps her toys close to her bed. As she settles in, she’s shown a growing comfort with her surroundings and has become more relaxed and tolerant of lower-energy dogs. Ready for a gentle companion?
