Blackie is a delightful young Scottish Fold now in our care. This sweet girl was abandoned and left to fend for herself, but she's found a safe haven here. Upon arrival, Blackie had a scarred right eye due to an untreated injury. After consulting a veterinary ophthalmologist, we discovered that she had limited vision in that eye. To ensure her quality of life, we decided on surgery, and she now has excellent vision with no further treatment needed. Her friendly nature allows her to get along beautifully with the other foster cats, making her a fantastic companion. We prefer that her new home has experience with the Scottish Fold breed, ensuring she continues to flourish. Fostered in Fairfax, VA, Blackie is ready to step into her next chapter with a caring family.
