Portobello is a 13-month-old Hound mix looking for a forever home before time runs out. His vibrant coat features shades of brown, red, and white, perfectly complementing his friendly demeanor. Right now, he’s in the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter, where he has been since July 21, 2026. Sadly, the shelter is overcapacity, and many dogs like Portobello are at risk for euthanasia due to lack of space. Though Portobello is not altered yet, he is vaccinated and ready for a caring owner to take him home.
