HoneyBee is a lovely 4-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer with a delightful personality fitting her sweet name. She came to us after a car accident which, fortunately, she has recovered from. Her former owner made the tough choice to surrender her after HoneyBee often wandered off, always wanting to join the family's adventures with their other dog. Now, she’s eager for a new beginning with a family who can keep her safe and shower her with affection. Warm and sociable, HoneyBee adores people and eagerly accepts all the cuddles. She has shown a friendly demeanor with other dogs and enjoys their company. While she’s been around cats and seems intrigued, she hasn’t displayed any chasing behavior. Being a German Wirehaired Pointer, she may possess natural hunting instincts, but it’s unclear if she has any formal training in that area. Currently, she is waiting to receive her final vaccines and be spayed before heading to her forever home. If you're seeking a loyal and affectionate companion with a heart as sweet as honey, HoneyBee could be the one for you. Though she won’t be ready for her new home until next week, we hope to find her dedicated forever family to welcome her as soon as she is available.
