Roman is a sensitive soul who found himself in need of a new home after his caregiver had to move into assisted living. Previously, he enjoyed life as an outdoor cat, waiting for meals on a porch. Now, he’s looking for a safe space where he can comfortably settle in. While he can adapt to being indoors, Roman prefers to dictate the terms of his affection. He loves gentle pets, but he’ll signal when he’s had enough— a swift paw swipe will let you know. Though Roman is not a fan of being picked up and is best in a home without children, he enjoys the warmth of a good head rub and will happily engage in conversations. He has a friendly nature and has shown he can coexist well with other cats, having previously shared space with one. At around 2 years old, Roman is already neutered, his vaccinations are up to date, and he’s tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
