Minnie is a lovable 12-year-old senior dog with a mixed breed of Papillon and Long Haired Dachshund. She came to us in critical condition, being morbidly obese and struggling with mobility. Thanks to her dedicated foster family, Minnie has made impressive progress, transitioning from nearly immobile to joyfully trotting and even doing little spins at suppertime. She gets excited during meals and can now navigate steps with ease. Minnie is a delight in any home, getting along well with kids, dogs, and even cats. Remarkably, she is 100% potty trained with no accidents since day one. While she still faces some challenges with vaginitis, her quality of life has vastly improved, and she deserves a loving forever home.
