When he first arrived, Buddy was terrified, overwhelmed by the new environment. This stress caused him to be a bit snappy at first. But once he had the chance to decompress in a loving foster home, his true gentle nature shone through, making it easy to fall in love with him. As a tiny gentleman, Buddy cherishes snuggling under the covers with his favorite person. He’s the perfect cuddle buddy, content to be close. He also takes his job as the “activity police” seriously, reminding younger dogs when playtime gets a bit too rowdy. Like many older dogs, Buddy values his personal space. While he may grumble or gently mouth if feeling bothered, he has never bitten. Because of this, he’s best suited for an adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children who understand the importance of boundaries. Buddy is house trained, gets along well with both people and other dogs, and exhibits fantastic house manners. He thrives when curled up in bed beside his person, enjoying quiet moments filled with pets. Interestingly, Buddy has received zero adoption applications, which seems unimaginable.
