April is a loving young girl who has come a long way from being terrified and shut down to becoming a playful, excited pup. While she needs a little time to warm up to new people, her transformation has been wonderful to see. Coming from a home with sixty other dogs, she feels most secure and confident when she has the company of another dog around. She is crate trained, house trained, and is getting better at leash walking. Although she hasn't had much socialization in the past, she's starting to open up beautifully. April enjoys being around children, demonstrating love and enthusiasm, even if she sometimes gets a bit enthusiastic in her greetings.
