Daphny is an 11-year-old Dachshund who came to the rescue because her owner could no longer care for her. She is house trained and kennel trained, making her an ideal companion for your home. Daphny gets along well with kids and other dogs, bringing joy to any family setting. While she walks nicely on a harness and leash, she can be a bit vocal, which may not suit shared wall environments. She has received all necessary vaccinations, including rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella. Daphny is spayed and has undergone heartworm testing, fecal testing, and dental cleaning as needed. Additionally, she's on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Daphny will also come with a microchip registered in your name, ensuring her lifelong safety. The adoption process includes an application, vet reference, home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The adoption fee is $400, and while a fenced yard isn’t strictly required, the decision depends on individual needs. Out-of-state applicants are welcome but must visit the foster home in Omaha or a nearby area for a meet and greet.
