About Lacey
Meet Lacey, a captivating 14-year-old Chihuahua who exudes confidence like no other. Weighing in at a fluffy 8 pounds, she's transitioned from Texas to Colorado after losing her owner. Life has thrown her some challenges, but her spirited personality remains intact. Lacey may not have any teeth, yet she fiercely protects her personal space with a charming determination. Her adorable tongue pokes out most of the time, making her dramatic glares all the more endearing. Affection is by appointment only, and she'll let you know when you've earned the privilege to pet her. Surprisingly, she's content to be carried and coddled when it suits her, especially since her luxating kneecaps mean stairs aren't her friend. Though she carries a bit of extra fluff, Lacey is a healthy senior with a vibrant personality. She's best suited for a home without young children or with dog-savvy kids who can respect her boundaries. If you have a mellow dog, great! They could share a household; otherwise, Lacey would love to reign as the sole ruler of her domain. If you're searching for a tiny dog packed with character, endless amusing expressions, and a dash of attitude, Lacey is your girl. Just remember, while she may warm your heart, the throne is hers to occupy. Lacey is currently fostered in Mead, CO. Adoption requires an in-person visit to Colorado, as we do not transport dogs.
