AvailableAbout Duchess
Meet Duchess. She was discovered rummaging through trash on the street and spent time at a small, rural shelter before finding her way to our rescue thanks to dedicated volunteers. Now, she's ready for her forever home. Duchess is a young, petite, 50-pound bundle of affection. With a lovely medium coat, she's eager to cuddle and just wants to be close to her humans — even if that means curling up in your lap. Her foster family describes her as a delightful companion, proving that good things come in smaller packages. This lovable girl gets along well with other dogs and quickly adapted to life with her German Shepherd foster sister. She is house trained and crate trained, making her a wonderful fit for any family. While she’s still warming up to squeaky toys, she shows curiosity when she's the one instigating play. Duchess has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which is being fully covered by our organization and a generous benefactor, so there is no cost barrier to giving her a loving home. Duchess truly deserves a family to call her own. Could you be the one to give her that chance?
