Meet Rock! This gentle giant, at about 6 years old and weighing 91 pounds, is a Pit Bull/Lab mix full of love and joy. Rock doesn't know how big he is, which adds to his charm. He believes every couch can accommodate him, and every lap is a cozy spot to snuggle in. Recently, we discovered he's an elite cuddler who acts like an oversized weighted blanket during the warmer days. Rock is friendly with everyone; people and other dogs are just potential friends. His easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around. He was rescued from a shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia, and he truly appreciates every moment of his second chance. Rock loves treats, enjoys sniffing around during walks, and embodies a joyful spirit that encourages you to savor life’s little pleasures. He is house-trained and thrives on being part of family activities, soaking up affection as he goes. Rock does fantastic with other dogs and loves people. We're unsure about how he interacts with cats or young children, but we can arrange testing for interested adopters. Currently heartworm positive, Rock is undergoing treatment at VCA Darien, with costs covered by Lucky Dog Refuge.
