He made his way from Mississippi alongside his best friend, Oscar, and these two have been inseparable ever since. He’s been focusing on building his confidence and improving his leash skills. Although he often looks to Oscar for reassurance, we're noticing Winston becoming more comfortable exploring independently each day. It’s been uplifting to witness his progress! Winston would do well as your one-and-only adventure mate or in a home with a confident canine sibling to help guide him. He’s brave, playful, and affectionate; once he trusts you, he’ll be right by your side for whatever comes next. Currently, he’s heartworm-positive and undergoing treatment. Lucky Dog Refuge covers all costs, so all Winston needs is a loving family to support him. While we’re not sure how he feels about cats or young children, we’re willing to test him with the right adopter.
