About Taka

Taka, affectionately known as Taco Cat, is a playful adult cat looking to find his forever home. Starting life outdoors was tough for him; he came to the rescue after being trapped for a routine appointment. His previous life left him matted and covered in ticks, but he has bounced back in foster care. With a fluffy brown coat, Taka is quite the character. He loves wand toys and enjoys chasing after jingle balls, showing off his playful side. He gets along well with other cats, enjoying their company and basking in the sun together. There’s also a laid-back dog in his foster home that he is comfortable around. Taka is a vocal fellow, sharing sounds for every occasion, from waking up from a nap to stretching and wanting company. As he adjusts to indoor life, Taka is learning to be picked up—though he’s not quite a lap cat yet. He thrives on attention and is eager for pets from his foster parents. Ideally, Taka would do well in a quiet home with fellow feline friends to guide him as he continues to grow more confident. He is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a warm, loving family. Ready to meet Taka?
