About Bento
Bento was discovered as a newborn alongside his mother and siblings near an abandoned home in a rural area. Fortunately, a compassionate foster took them in, and he was raised with love until he was old enough for adoption. Now three months old, he's ready to find his forever home. This little guy is a delightful mix, likely a Terrier, with the sweetest brindle coat. He gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes, and he’s comfortable around cats too. Bento has shown a natural affinity for children, loving to be held and cuddled — he’s currently in a foster home with kids as young as six. Although he’s almost house trained, he’s still mastering leash walking, which makes for some fun and playful moments. Bento weighs in at about 12 pounds and is expected to be a small to medium-sized adult, as his mother is 28 pounds. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Additionally, he’s microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventive flea and tick medication. Bento can arrive in Indianapolis on August 15th. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
