Rescued from the euthanasia list at BARC, Tom has spent the last several years in a boarding facility instead of a home. Remarkably, he remains happy, affectionate, social, and emotionally well-adjusted despite his circumstances. He greets people with excitement and believes that every new person might become his best friend. His resilience is something to admire. Tom rides well in the car, though he might need a bit of patience getting in, as he hasn’t had a lot of opportunities to practice. Once settled, he’s a wonderful passenger. He gets along with dogs if properly introduced, having shown calm behavior around them through fencing.
