About Shaggy

Meet Shaggy, the tiniest member of the Scooby Doo crew! He arrived at Texas CARES with his four siblings after being rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Longview, Texas. While his parentage is a mystery, one thing is clear: he’s irresistibly adorable and a true cuddle bug. Though he might be the smallest, Shaggy’s personality and heart are enormous. He enjoys the occasional zoomie but believes that snuggling is life's highest calling. Picture him as more turtle than hare when it comes to energy levels—his favorite spot is curled up in a warm lap, soaking up all the love. Shaggy is very social, getting along well with people and fellow cats. He would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion or even better, could be adopted alongside another kitten. He’s litter box trained, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, having tested negative for both feline leukemia (FeLV) and FIV. If you’re looking for the babiest baby of all the kittens—the one who aims to be your tiny shadow and loyal cuddle buddy—Shaggy is your guy. Submit an adoption application today and let this sweet little floof steal your heart!
