About Lincoln

❤️ LINCOLN ❤️ Lincoln’s journey to rescue has been marked by challenges, but it has only amplified his gentle spirit. At just a year and a half old, this Great Pyrenees has endured a lot, yet his sweetness shines through. His coat was so matted upon arrival that he needed to be shaved, but that hasn't dampened his joyful nature. He’s already learning the good life! Lincoln enjoys the air-conditioning and has grown fond of cuddling up in bed with his humans. A light brushing makes him melt, proving how much he craves love and attention. He is well-mannered at home and doesn’t require crating when left alone. Watching Lincoln relax is heartwarming. He sprawls on his back with his feet in the air, carefree and secure in his new surroundings. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and largely ignores the cats he's met so far. Lincoln appreciates mealtime solitude and prefers to eat alone, allowing him peace and comfort. Currently, he weighs around 50 pounds and needs to gain a bit more to reach a healthier weight, but that will come as his coat grows back and he continues to heal emotionally. Lincoln is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Despite his past, his heart is whole and ready for a forever family. ❤️ Could you be Lincoln’s forever human? 🐾 Start your journey together! Apply now.
