Originally thought to be a trap and release cat due to his ear tip, he encountered unexpected health issues. After multiple treatments for an ear infection linked to a polyp, he was rescued by New Beginnings Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. and received the care he desperately needed. Now, he’s healthy and ready for a new home. Channing is a loving companion who enjoys the company of kids. He’s very vocal and loves to chat. While he can get along with other cats, he prefers to be the sole feline in the household. Weighing nearly 16 lbs., he has a few scars but is gentle by nature. He does well with cat-friendly dogs and appreciates their company more than that of other cats. After being returned due to family dynamics, Channing is back with us and is eager to find a home where he can receive all the love he deserves. He enjoys cuddling up on the couch and sleeping next to his people. He is FIV+, which doesn’t affect his ability to live a full life.
