About Janis
Meet Janis, an adorable 9-week-old pup who found her way to us after showing up on a porch looking for love. Despite her rough start, she’s proven to be a joyful little companion who loves to be near her humans more than anything. Janis has a playful spirit and enjoys teasing the other dogs at the rescue, but her true best friend is a cat named Carlos, with whom she shares a sibling-like bond. Currently weighing in at 17 pounds, she’s expected to grow into a 60-70 pound Rottweiler mix. Janis is smart and communicates effectively, even asking for potty breaks at night. She loves to splash around in the doggy pool and is already making strides in her training, eagerly sitting for treats. Up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, Janis will thrive in a large yard, perfect for her playful energy, and would be happiest with a family who has children and can be around during the day. She shouldn't be left alone for long periods at her young age, so a home where someone works from home would be ideal. Are you ready to bring this sweet girl into your life?
