Kira is a delightful and affectionate girl who truly enjoys being around people. She craves attention and might forget about personal space, so be ready for some close cuddles! Although she may not have had a typical home life before, she's adapting quickly and learning fast. Kira knows how to sit and has mastered using a dog door. She is not fully house trained yet but is making great progress and can sometimes have an accident as she adjusts to a new routine. Kira has a playful spirit, thanks to her foster siblings who have shown her the joys of playing with other dogs. While she tends to be a bit shy around cats, she adjusts well to calm ones. She is treat motivated, which makes training easier, though she does need reminders not to chew on blankets or shoes. Kira is doing well with crate training and is getting used to being in a fenced backyard without trying to escape. She still needs some work on leash manners, but with patience, she will flourish.
