About Mira
Mira is a resilient soul who was found as a stray in the Central Valley. When she arrived at the shelter, she was emaciated and diagnosed with diabetes, leading to her placement on the euthanasia list due to the lack of resources for her care. Luckily, a dedicated volunteer with experience caring for diabetic pets stepped in, and Mira is now in foster care receiving the necessary treatment. Despite being almost totally blind, she confidently explores her surroundings, relying on her human companions to guide her. Mira gets along well with other dogs and has been learning to adjust to the presence of cats. She is a smart and cheerful dog who adores attention and believes she’s a lap dog. This sweet girl would thrive in a loving home where she can continue her journey to health. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
