Daisy is a sweet and resilient dog who arrived at the shelter through our Humane Law Enforcement team. She has a shy temperament and takes some time to warm up to new people and environments, so she appreciates a patient approach. Once you earn her trust, she reveals her loving and affectionate nature. Daisy is best suited for a lower-traffic home without young children, where her boundaries can be respected. She experiences some discomfort with certain types of handling and is on daily medication to manage her cherry eye; however, that doesn’t hinder her from enjoying life. Our trainers have been working diligently to teach Daisy new skills, and she's making notable progress. Her new family should be committed to continuing her positive reinforcement training.
