Duck is a one-year-old, small mixed-breed dog currently in foster care in Houston, Texas, preparing for his journey to Glastonbury, CT. While he’s a bit shy, he’s making great progress with his foster family. Duck is nearly house trained and does well with a harness, but he can be startled by sudden noises, so a calm neighborhood for walks would be best. He loves to cuddle and quickly forms bonds with his humans. While he gets along with other dogs, Duck may need a quieter companion or be the only dog in the home, especially since he can be protective over his treats. This sweet boy is sure to become a wonderful companion for someone who can give him the love and attention he craves. The adoption fee is waived to help find him a loving home.
