About Lyre
Lyre is a young female dog, part Anatolian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever, who has overcome tremendous odds. Rescued after being abandoned in a remote area, she delivered eleven puppies shortly after her rescue, ten of whom survived. Despite her rocky start, Lyre is thriving now. She's good with both dogs and cats, happily sharing food and water bowls with them. With a medium energy level, she enjoys engaging activities, particularly with an active family that loves hiking, swimming, and playing ball. Lyre is house trained and knows commands like "sit." While she occasionally limps for a minute after vigorous play, it doesn't impede her ability to run and enjoy life. She's up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and currently on preventative medications. This sweet girl is protective of her home and family, alerting them with barks when necessary. She's ready to meet her forever family and will be available for adoption starting August 15th. Don’t miss the chance to welcome her into your home.
