Ellie is a sweet Belgian Shepherd Malinois who has been through a lot. At around 7 years old, she once endured life as a breeding dog for a backyard breeder before being taken to an overcrowded shelter in the Tampa Bay area. Despite her past, she is eager to trust and loves attention. While she has a higher energy level, she balances it with a calm side when settled. Given her age, she still requires plenty of mental and physical stimulation to thrive. Unfortunately, Ellie does not get along with children or cats, but she has shown to be good with other dogs.
